Creativity. Community. A Safer Future.
En Plein Air, presented by BankFirst, is more than an art event—it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and hope happening in Laurel and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
We are thrilled to welcome young artists for another exciting year of Kid’s En Plein Air, where children can explore their creativity, connect with friends, and enjoy a joyful day of painting outdoors.

Each year’s shirt becomes a colorful keepsake of the day—celebrating creativity, community, and the young artists who make Kid’s En Plein Air so special. This year's shirt was designed by Laurel artist Adam Trest!
Every canvas, every color, and every creative moment helps support the work of the Domestic Abuse Family Shelter, providing safety, advocacy, and hope for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking across our region.
When children create art at Kid’s En Plein Air, they’re doing more than painting—they’re helping paint a safer future for families in our community.
✨ Come paint.
✨ Come play.
✨ Come be part of something powerful.
Create art. Change lives.
